Short bio

Waldon Fenster is an entrepreneur, husband, father, and creator of Feeling Dangerous, a ten-book series shaped by real stories of ambition, failure, addiction, faith, redemption, and radical obedience. Through his books and Field Notes, Waldon shares what he is learning while rebuilding his life, raising his family, and following God one step at a time. His message is simple: an imperfect person fully surrendered to God becomes dangerous to darkness.

Waldon Fenster is an entrepreneur, husband, father, and the creator of Feeling Dangerous, a ten-book series built from the Field Notes of a life shaped by ambition, risk, failure, faith, and redemption.

His story is not a carefully polished testimony about a man who always made the right decisions. It is the story of a man who has experienced remarkable success, devastating failure, addiction, broken trust, unexpected miracles, and the consequences of his own choices—and discovered that God was present through every part of it.

Waldon spent much of his life moving fast. He built businesses, took enormous risks, traveled the world, pursued opportunities, and regularly stepped into situations where the outcome was anything but certain. Some of those decisions opened doors he could never have created for himself. Others brought him face-to-face with his weaknesses, his pride, and the damage a person can cause when ambition moves faster than character.

His life has included battles with drugs, alcohol, gambling, fear, illness, isolation, and the pressure to become whatever the people around him expected him to be. It has also included healing, sobriety, restoration, supernatural provision, radical obedience, and encounters that cannot be explained without acknowledging the hand of God.

Waldon does not write from a platform of perfection. He writes from the field.

The stories inside Feeling Dangerous were lived before they were written. They come from casino floors, hospital rooms, business meetings, long drives, courtrooms, churches, family decisions, hidden seasons, and moments when following God required moving before the entire plan could be seen.

At the center of Waldon’s life is his family. He and his wife, Danielle, are raising a growing family in Texas while intentionally building a home rooted in faith, courage, responsibility, and obedience. His experiences as a husband and father have reshaped his understanding of strength. Providing for and protecting a family is not merely about money or physical safety. It requires presence, sacrifice, leadership, humility, and the willingness to take responsibility when you get it wrong.

Feeling Dangerous is not about becoming aggressive, reckless, or fearless. It is about what happens when an ordinary, imperfect person stops running from God, surrenders completely, and becomes dangerous to the darkness that has been holding people captive.

Across the ten books in the Feeling Dangerous series, Waldon explores faith, money, marriage, family, healing, purpose, hidden seasons, miraculous encounters, and the true measure of a life. Each book is supported by Field Notes: real stories and lessons captured while the journey is still unfolding.

Waldon is not writing from the finish line. He is still rebuilding, learning, leading, making amends, raising his family, and following God one act of obedience at a time.

That is the heart of Feeling Dangerous.

You do not need a perfect past to be used by God.

You do not need to understand the entire plan before taking the next step. You simply need the courage to surrender the pen—and allow God to write what happens next.
